Indeed. It's a point much remarked upon that many restrictions on abortion access give foetuses more rights than born children and adults. And, well, an awful lot of foetuses eventually become women, many of whom may caregivers at some point in their lives, and I'm not seeing a huge drive from the anti-abortion lobby to provide much in the way of infrastructural support and real material options for them (and other rants I've not had before).
